Dog Walking

Dog walking provides enrichment, decreases stress and promotes a healthy lifestyle for your dog. Working as a Registered Veterinary Nurse I've spent years cultivating good communication skills and understanding dog behaviour.

I am a Member of the Professional Dog Walkers Association. Providing my own harnesses approved by veterinary physiotherapists and fitted to your dog or using their own. Walking in dog friendly local areas such as Llantrisant woods. The maximum of dogs I will walk together is three so that I can provide the best level of care and safety.

Depending on recall we can go for a lovely walk, on or off the lead, enjoying all the scents of the forest and have a nice wash and dry before returning home nice and clean.

Before our first walk, I will book a consultation with you to meet you, your dog or dogs and during this meeting I can answer any questions, provide some documentation and obtain all of the critical information like Veterinary information. All dogs must be vaccinated and safe to mix in different environments.

Each client has an individual folder, understanding any health conditions and common triggers like water or traffic aversions.

In the event of an emergency as a Registered Veterinary Nurse I can administer first aid.I am DBS checked and I have full business insurance. I have GPS Trackers placed on your dog or dogs during our walk.

While I'm not afraid of any rain, weather conditions like extreme heat that can cause heat stroke, house visits can be used  as an alternative to walking. The walks could also be moved to the very early morning or evening. This is all dependent on your dog's age, breed etc but will be discussed in person with myself.

I will keep you updated with photos and messages providing you with reasurance and some memories to cherish.

Birthdays are really special so I offer free birthday Walks.
