Hello,

my name is Georgie and  I'm a Registered Veterinary Nurse with over fifteen years of experience. I grew up with a myriad of animals and it was these memories that shaped my childhood.

 

I learnt how to respect and care for all different animals, expanding my understanding of the husbandry and behaviour required to help them thrive and flourish.I learnt to ride at a young age and have been lucky enough to have horses to care and love throughout my life. It was my joy at the glorious world of animals that inspired me to train to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse.

 

I have been employed at Veterinary Practices all over the UK, gaining experience at rural mixed practices learning farm and equine care. I've worked in Animal Hospitals and Referral Hospitals in London, Bristol and South Wales, attended to animals with the fire department, worked in exotic departments and helped cat charities with feral cats.

I have leadership experience as the Head Registered Veterinary Nurse at multiple practices across London and I've been a clinical coach, mentoring students for many years.Spending my time learning all about animal behaviour, the best practice to promote safety and kindness for all animals. Leading multiple teams I enhanced my communication, organisation and compassion in great times of need. The medical training that I have allows your pets to be provided with great care, empathy, experience and understanding.

I've experienced so much with animals and there is always more to learn and discover.

I am currently studying for my animal hydrotherapy qualification and hope to be able to add this as a service.

I live in Talbot Green but I also cover all the surrounding areas such as Pontyclun, Llantrisant, Brynsadler, Miskin, Cross inn, Cowbridge, Pencoed, Llanharan and Pentyrch. Please contact me if you live outside of Rhondda Cynon Taf as I do travel further a field.
